Overview
A practical approach to spatialized sound (for fun and profit) using 2 systems:
- decentralized speaker cloud
- centralized sound dome
The course will focus on the creation of 3 short pieces, two of which utilize the systems introduced, and the third to be chosen by the students. Projects 1 and 2 will be presented in class for group critique. Ideally, Project 3 will take place via a group concert to be organized with the class at the HfM, ZKM, or outside venue.
Each project will occur over a 3 class block. For details on this and course concept, flow, and requirements, see the: Syllabus
