Project 3: Choose Your Own Adventure

A project utilizing a spatialization approach left to the student: speaker cloud, Zirkonium, smartphone(s), or any additional tools.

Ideally, the piece will be presented at an ensemble concert together at the end of the semester, in lieu of a final exam.

Assignment

Develop a live or pre-rendered spatialized piece of 3 - 5 minutes in duration using the tool of choice. Consider concept, dramaturgy, and performative elements.

Additionally, can pieces be overlapped / complemented with other students?

Note: We will decide together how we want to do the concert. Ideally, it can be an event in itself with an outside audience at possibly an outside location. More to come on this.
